The equipment arrives and is set up in the operatory before the patient does. That includes monitoring for oxygenation, ventilation, circulation, and temperature, airway management equipment appropriate to the patient, the anesthetic medications, and a full complement of emergency drugs.
Everything is checked and ready before treatment begins, and removed afterward. The practice is not asked to buy, store, or maintain anything.
Dr. Rad handles the anesthesia entirely, from the pre-operative assessment through recovery and discharge, so the treating dentist can concentrate on the procedure.

Why dental practices use a mobile anesthesiologist
Building anesthesia capability into a dental practice is expensive and slow, and for most practices the case volume does not justify it. Bringing in a physician anesthesiologist for the cases that need one is a far more practical arrangement.
It also widens the range of patients a practice can treat, including children, patients with special needs, and adults whose anxiety or medical history has kept them from care.
